need 360 rebuild help

I'm rebuilding the 360 in my '73 F100 4x4. For no other reason than I finally have the time, space and (some) money to tear apart and rebuild a truck. I want to keep it simple and mostly stock. The only thing I'm adding are headers and a 390 4 barrel intake (I heard 360's and 390's are pretty much the same). I'm sending the heads out to be rebuilt to help keep the cussing and swearing to a minimum. I have the engine out and disassembled to the crank. I want to order my rebuild kit. The kit I'm getting comes from Greenbay Parts World. The kit has: pistons, rings, rod bearings, main bearings, cam bearings, gasket set, camshaft, lifters, timing chain set, oil pump and freeze plugs. It costs $369.00 that includes shipping. I'm going to spend the extra money and get the recommended kit upgrades, brass freeze plugs, Fel Pro gaskets and Hastings moly rings. I can also get different camshafts. Finally my question, what cam should I get? My options are: Wolverine (270/280 .484/.510) for $20.00 or the Wolverine (280/280 .510/.510) for $34.00. Thanks for your time.

Skip the aftermarket cam; run the stocker. Both those cams are too big for a 360. When rebuilt, the 360 has pathetically low compression. Make sure those are not dished pistons. They should have 1.776" compression height and have a flat top with 4 valve reliefs.

Most people convert the 360 to a 390 in the process of the rebuild. This consists of a 390 crank and set of 390 rods.

Thanks for the advice. Sorry it takes so long to reply, I drive a truck and I don't get by the computer that much.
