Very confused
How has Ford already released a 2008 model? Its just barely 2007. I noticed a big difference in badges compared to the 2007. But what else has changed? And why did the release it so soon?
Also, has anyone seen the 2008 F-250 that was built up on Spike TV's Extreme 4x4? That thing is huge!

One of the big reasons has to due with the diesel engine. Diesles produced after Dec 31 are required to meet much stricter emissions standards. Ford did not have the 6.4 ready for the 2007 production line so they were forced to build a short run of 2007's.....Not to mention I'm sure debuting the 6.4 as a 2008 was a marketing thing.

I too am really curious about how the motor performs, however I don't think I'll be buying one too soon. My wife doesn't like driving my truck because of the turbo lag. If that was too go away she'd want to drive it all the time......We just can't have that =)
