driving problem with motor
every once and a while i have been driving and for a brief second each time the motor chuggs like someone hit a kill switch but then it will drive fine after that.i am puzzeled as to what this could be, oh when it does this the engine light comes on but when i shut it off then restart it the engine light is gone.it is a 7.3 2001 superduty any help would be appreciated thanks for your time.

for starters, my guess there should be a tripped code, if you can have someone pull the code it will give you a better idea,
if you dont have a programmer available, the stealership can pull it if you give them your right arm.
