Bob, check out the ATS site.....I think [?] they have pillars that will do your truck...none for 83-86 though....does any one know of any body that has pillars & gauges for 83-86's.
I do believe the pods are made by Auto Meter for all of the resellers.
You may do better going to the Auto Meter site directly.
Never did find a full pillar for the pre 87 body style, but I think the 87 pillar would work if you trimmed the piece that goes back over the door off.
Mr. Bob
Just a quick note to let you know that I haven't forgotten you. I did recieve my parts and all appear to be as advertised. A family issue will keep me from spending any time on the truck until this weekend. I'll try to get some "In place" pictures.

Wulp, I took a couple pics of the new pod this evening. Haven't actually installed anything yet, just held the pod at about the location that I anticipate it ending up.
First impressions:
* It will take a bit of tweeking to the gauge mounts to get them to be good and snug in the pod. Shouldn't be a big deal.
* I have no patience for plastic squeeks in the cab so I'm pretty sure that I will be looking at something to do a better job sealing it down to the factory post.
* They are more than a little over sold, Things like "Race Inspired Carbon Fiber Look" um "Vacuum Formed ABS To Save You Money" would be a lot closer.
* I don't have a black interior so before I go too far I might look into trying a color match. Sketchy though, matching 20 year old colors on plastic parts.
This is the first time I've used a pod for gauges so please let me know if I'm not being realistic with my expectations.
Sorry for the huge image size, pretty obvious it's my first time eh?
Best

Now I know where I left my other quilted flannel shirt and don't forget the truck ignition key is laying on the dash.
Glad to hear there are no squeaks. Did you use the factory mounting screws? Do you have any specific mounting suggestions for cable routing, etc.?
Key on dash means that TWOMBO is more likley to NOT be searching with frown and scowl.
I now have edited the photo so that it isn't the size of Texas, but it looks like I can't edit my earlier post. Let me know if there is a way and I will update this thread. Sorry for any inconvenience.
I installed the Autometer 3 gauge pod yesterday. I don't have pics, but it was pretty simple to do. I have 2 additional screws installed beyond what factory used. Also, I cut out the A-pillar portion of the factory trim from above the window all the way down. Gauge pod covered it good. You have more room to run the wires/tubes if you cut it out. Plus you can remove/install it easier.
