engine turns over slow
I have a 1984 f250 with a 302, It was given to me about a year ago by a friend at that time it had jumped time. I replaced the timing chain and gears I also replaced the alternator,water pump,battery,hoses and belts. the problem started two weeks ago it sounded like i had a dead battery. I checked the battery it had good votage it was not charging as good as i thoght it should be so i changed the voltage regulator. this did not help so i changed the starter and charged the battery. this still is not helping. when you turn the key it acts just like you have a dead battery i don't know what else it could be. just would like to know if any one has any ideas.

Look for a braid type cable between block and frame and a small one between block and firewall. Generally, Wal-Mart, Advance, etc. do free battery load checks. A good load tester will draw at least 100 Amperes, better ones about 500.

thanks for the help. the problem was the ground strap from the frame to the engine block. I personaly have seen this problem many times but for some reason i could not think of it on my own truck. I installed a new #4 cable from the frame to the block and everything is working fine now. so thank you all for your help and suggestions!
