windshield washers

anybody got a good fix for washers? both of my 74's at best squirt too high or too low or barley dribble. pumps don't last very long either. i'm going to try to find some type of retrofit that will spray like newer trucks or try to adapt a wiper arm that has nozzles in blade like some chrysler k-cars. anything you have tried and didn't work or worked great?

Soak the nozzles in vinegar, they are probably calcified.

Think I heard that you can use nozzles off of a late 80's Lincoln Town Car but I have not tried it myself. Do a search in this forum--I know I've seen it discussed before. Whatever you decide to do let us know how it worked for you.

If I remember right, some of the 70's Ford cars had the spray nozzles on the wiper arms. You might see if you can find some of these.

I believe those wiper mounted nozzles were used on Fords with hidden wipers..around 1970/72.
