PSD lope

any suggestions what will make a 97 psd lope. It lopes real bad when really cold and lopes still even when its warmed up.

How is the oil, is it up to appropriate level, and how many miles/age does the oil have on it??

oil has only a few thousand miles on it and level is fine. What is the IPR? I smell burnt wiring even in when i smell in oil filler. Why would a bad torque converter make truck lope? as for the injectors i don't know. my thinking is if they were bad the truck would run bad even when accerlerating and this is not the case, the truck runs pretty tough when i get into it. they are original injectors with 207k on them. I will change the oil again this week, that way i can rule that out.
