Newbie questions

I finally bought my 1st powerstroke. A 96 F250 Supercab 5 speed 4x4. What a truck. I do have some questions though. Does anyone know the factory horsepower and torque for a 96? And can I turn my ignition switch backwards to listen to the radio or does this mess with the glow plugs in any way? How long does the cps usually last? Mine was replaced a couple of months before I bought it.

The factory hp/tq rating were 215/460 for the 96 at the flywheel. Turning the key that way is fine and wont mess with the glow plugs. A CPS can last 10 miles or 300,000, it is a good idea to keep a spare in the glove box

Where is the cps located on the engine? I forgot to ask do all of the manual shift trucks have some play in the shifter?

Harmonic damper on the front of the engine at about 10 o'clock.
The picture was taken from under the truck looking up.
Thanks to who ever I stole this picture from.
