Just an idea:
This works great for me, take the price from any online site to your local shop and ask them to match the price on the same brand and part number.
I bought a hard tonneau cover at a local chain parts store for the same price as the online dealer. I only had to pay the tax when I bought it locally.
Also, a lot of online places charge a restocking fee when you decide to return something, I found that out the hard way!

Thank you for the Truck Addons warning. Covering up or protecting incompetent businesses is not fair to the efficient companies offering quality service and products. Nor is it fair to us.
The site owners also prefer not to be associated with rip off, low quality, poor service companies either. As long as the complaints are truthful and factual, we are all served well by them. Reward the good businesses and weed out the bad. Word of mouth is the most powerful and many times the only protection we have.
This may have saved me and others the same frustration and regret you suffered.
Thanks again for the information.

I have a Tonneau cover installed similar to the access roll up cover, but mine is stronger. I live in ND and they are actually made in ND called the Agricover (I believe). When the guy performs a demonstration of the covers he walks on and also puts a rip in it and tries to tear it with his hands, and can't. They are damn nice!
