1989 150 no start

1989 150 no start

drove my truck 4 hours ago and now all im getting now is normal crank over no start and a smell of gas.... 1989 f-150 5.8w/3 speed some one help me plz.

More than likely the TFI module on the side of the distributor is bad.
You need to check to see if you are getting spark.

i believe its the fuel pressure regulator, stop cranking on it if you smell gas in exhaust pipe cause your washing the cylinder walls with large amounts of fuel, go to autozone and get one for 55 bucks....it takes 20 minutes to change and it should fire right up, i had same problem with 4.9 liter.....good luck.
