lowering shackles
just lookin around on some of these online catalogs and whatnot, cant seem to find a set of rear shackles for my 71, i am lookin at tryin to get 2-1/2 or 3 inch drop out of it, gonna do the front with springs, am lookin for that stance like stroker393's truck, thanks fellas

looked in the summit mag. and they show shackles for dodge and chevs... wouldn't hurt to call and find out if they have some for your application. i have called to order things that are not in mag and found out that they do carry certain things but don't have the room to show that many options.... give it a try... 18002303030

you can do what my buddy did to my shackles. he torched out the rivets and raised the stock leaf spring mounts up to get the rear a little lower. we also flipped the axle on top of the leaf springs, and made a lowerinig block. we had to make a c-notch in the rear frame section also to allow for the axle to maintain its travel. i will try to get you a couple pictures.
