check engine light-codes
I have a 91 F150 4X4 302 with the check engine light on. Here are the codes I am getting.
Engine running
98

Engine not running

It just started this morning. There is not any fast idle and keeps dying when cold. After it warms up it does not die but does not run quite right. The transmission shifts hard. I am thinking it is wiring but I can not find anything wrong. I was hoping someone with more knowledge than me could give me an idea what to look for.
I checked the coolant level and it is ok. It did this once a while back and the coolant level was low.

After further invetigation I found the problem. Two wires going into the TP sensor was bare with no insulation and were touching each other. I cleaned it good with carb cleaner and put silicone gasket sealer around them. Everything is working fine now with no codes.
