I want to put aggressive snow tires on my F-350 and keep the stock wheels/tires for good weather. I've been told that no one makes replacement rims for the F-350 yet. Not looking for anything fancy...just a basic rim to keep snowtires on. Any suggestions on where to get rims. Junkyards want too much for stock aluminum rims and Ford wants $180 ea. for the spare tire rim. HELP!!

Whoever told you this is wrong. There are tons of wheels that will work on the SD. Check with the Tire Rack (FTE sponsor) as they sell package deals of wheels and snow tires. You can pick up cheap steel wheels from tons of vendors, but they will be lug-centric wheels instead of the hub-centric wheels that came on your SD. Aluminum wheels will be more expensive and will get pitted really bad by the road surface chemicals they use during the winter.
The 1999 through 2004 have a different backspace then the 2005 and up SD's. The 2005 and up wheels will fit on the older SD's but will rub the on the leafs due to the backspacing difference.
In my area (lots of aftermarket wheels) factory take offs can be had for not very much dough. Check with a few of your local tire / wheel shops to see what they do with take offs when they install upgrade wheels for their customers. Bet you can find a pretty good deal. I also see many on e-bay.
