tire question

anyone use 285/75/15 tires on 03 F250 SD with a plow? Trying to decide if they would rub when the plow is on the front or not?

Thats what I figured. I know theres a couple of guys that do some plowing that would know might have to search for who's been talking about plowing.

Regarding tires....there's no shortage of opinions as to which brand is best

A couple of links that may help you decide:

I know which brand of tire I want, just wondering the biggest size I can put on the factory rim with running a plow without the tire rubbing. I am thinking about adding a leveling kit, but don't want to buy the tires taht will require the leveling kit. If the 285's will rub while i have the plow on without installing a leveling kit, I will probably get the 265's to be safe. however if the 285's will be fine without the leveling kit and with the V plow on, I will go with the 285's.

wlihntr, in your opinion, do you think the tires would rub when driving or turning if I had a 1000 lb plow on the front end????
