i have a problem with my 05 e450...it actually has to do with the body installed on it...the problem is that since new the power door locks for
the utility doors malfunction...within a couple weeks of buying i went back to get it looked at and was told to give it time to 'break in'...it didnt take long for some doors to be completely stuck...so recently i went to have all the automatic door locks replaced only to have the same
problem...when i talked to them it sounds as if they dont want to deal with it anymore...they have redesigned locks that have a key override but they r not willing to switch...should i talk to the dealer i bought it from, discuss a buyback, lemon, etc...i dont know what to do and i am
feed up with the $1100 payment for a truck that locks my tools inside

in addition, if i keep the doors unlocked the locks will drain the battery down...i was shocked to hear that was normal

 

Sence you have tools, why not do them yourself? While your looking at them, you can look at the extra HD actuators from companies like electralife, vpa or AUTOLOCK.
