SCT Tuner
I currently have an 06 F-350 EC LB 6.0 with the Edge Juice Platinum w/ attitude monitor installed. I love the ability to display various items such as boost, engine temp etc and also shift power levels on the fly. However, I do not particular like the transmission tuning. I have it set up now to defuel 100% between shifts with transmission protection on with firmer shifts at any load. I have read numerous reviews on the SCT tuners that seem to offer what I am looking for. I would like to set truck to up have 0% defuel between shifts and a considerably more, firm quick shift. Can I still use my edge set-up and use the SCT in addition to it for a transmission tune only? Has this been done before and is it available? Is a transmission modification neccessary to handle 0% defuel between shifts? Thanks.

I ran the edge with SCT tunes a while back. Everything worked well but eventually sold the Edge for SCT tunes and make more safer power.
Shift do work better not as good as SCT alone but better than usual. I had them advance the timing a bit more and up the boost and it ran better but SCT will make you happier much a much lower price up front and in the long run.

Could Edge be set to stock "0" so I could still utilize guage features and then install SCT custom tunes? Would that work effectively?

EPDP99, I think I will get rid of the Edge and just get a good set of guages instead. Just ordered SCT X CAL 2 with Tow Performance, Street, and Extreme Street tunes. Should see it early next week. Thanks
