PTO Question

I have a 2003 F-350 Dually w/6.0 and a 5 speed auto with tow/haul. I was wondering since the truck was not ordered with a pto, could it be added and to what extent would the work be. Has anyone ever added a pto before? Any info would help, price, parts, amount of labour involved, whether it can be done or not, Anything. I was wondering because I am considering the pto driven air compressor and generator from vanair.

A PTO can be added. All you need to do is change your trans for a PTO trans. You could just rebuild yours into a PTO, but it might be cheaper to buy a new trans.
