Thanks, I have been looking at it for almost 20 years and the change would be nice if the stuff would bolt right on. I can get all the parts at the pull and save for under 100 dollars. I don't really consider it a front clip exchange. It looks like I may just have to go to the junkyard and do some test fitting there on the trucks. Maybe I will just buy all the stuff and try it. I can get my money back out of everything if I need to.
I don't really know if the 89 is exactly the same as mine under the fenders or any of the others for that matter. The changes are so small on the outside it sure looks like they could use the same shell under the body parts.
you need rad suport , fenders ,grill suport, lights, Harnes (You may need to swap light plugs) hood bumper, Don't now if fenderwells same because I justed swapped and didn't compair ,latch,ect.ect. Get a whole front clip and windshield wipper cowl as they are different. All those little thins will be covered then . Good luck I'm glad you can get cheap parts Here your looking at $800.00. I buy parts $800.00 2x4 trucks down south and sell the parts not needed. And ussually have some $ for extras. Good luck
