Dim Driving Lights
I Recently Bought A '99 F350 Lariat Power Stroke. I Beleive My Fog Lights Are Factory Equipment, And I Wonder If Anyone Can Tell Me Why They Are So Dim? I Replaced The Bulbs In Both Lights (55watt H3) And This Made No Difference. They Seem To Have A Filter Or Diffuser Built Into The Fixture. It Makes No Sense To Even Equip Avehicle With Something As Weak As These. I'm Wondering If I Can Do Any Damage To My Truck If I Try 100w Bulbs, Or If Anyone Can Suggest A Replacement Light That Will Easily Install In The Same Spot As These.

How do you turn on your fog lights?
If it's by pulling out your headlight switch then you have factory.
If not then you have aftermarket.
If they are aftermarket then you will need to check what gage the wire is to see if you can upgrade the bulb.
