Header Leak
One of my headers is going bad, I've orderd a new one but while I'm waiting is there anything I can do to reduce the noise? The put-put-put is driving me crazy. Is there some special tape I can wrap around the header? I don't want to stop the leak, just dampen the noise.

Yeah there some stuff out on the market called Muffer patch... and it works as a temp fix on mufflers.. But headers get a hell of alot hotter.. But It might last for a week or so until your new stuff come in....
I have evn welded up cast Iron headers before..and thats only good for 3000 miles or a trip from SoCal to Southern Virginia...LOL dont ask me how I know..I just do..
