need help with Lightning question!
Looking at buying a Ford Lightning for my 18 yr old son who's off to college in the fall. The one I'm looking at is a 2002, 60,000 miles, with boost system in it. (Hey I'm a girl, what do I know about these things)! The truck squeals after it gets to the "o" on the gauge. The company mechanic says the belt is new and it's not centered right. They want $17,500 out the door (tax, tag, title). Does this sound like a good deal? I'm a recent widow and my son HAS to have something dependable to drive! I have no one to tell me if this is a good deal or net. Good tires 6 disc CD auto trans, clean, no scratches or dents. Someone HELP!
