transmission rebuild

e40d how difficult is this transmission rebuild is there any special tools needed
i have rebuilt motors in the past never tried transmissions

motors and transmissions are 2 totally different things, and without having you done 1 before id recomend getting it done professionally

i would like to have it done by some one else but i am broke with out a job i can get a rebuild kit for like 300 off e bay any one around here wants 1500- 1700 to rebuild it
cant work with out my truck cant fix my truck with out work
only used tranny i can get is 750
will a c6 work if i make a drive shaft and tranny mount

e40D is a very complex tranny compared to a c6. Too many special tools required for rebuild that by the time you get them you prolly could have had it prof rebuilt for you.
