Question please help with troubleshooting

I have a 89 ford f-250 and the motor was blown when I got it so I put a 351 w in it that I had just had rebuilt. It ran great for about 2500 mi. no problems when I went out to start it one morning it just wouldn't fire, it spits a little like it might fire once in a while but other than that it just turns over. It has spark and it has fuel, I can't figure it out. it has a points dist. and a 4 bl. carb. any input would really be helpfull. thank you much

Sounds like you may have lost fuel pressure, or possibly a timing issue.

IF.....it has "good" spark and "ample" fuel......then check for proper valve and ignition timing. If that checks out totally, do a compression check. Keep an open mind.

sounds like fuel the way it spudders like it wants to start.....Check the wiring at the fuel pump relay, my plow truck had a bad connection at that plug.

Just a guess.........
