Alright im sure all of you have heard this before.. I want more hp out of my 05 6.0. Right now i have the Edge chip, Banks full exhaust system and the K&N Cold Air Intake. Yet this is still not enough for me, i am just wondering what there is to do to get more power out of this beast. I am only getting 9 mpg now so mileage is no issue to me( 8" lift on 38's). I was thinking of getting new injectors?? But i do want to keep reliability in mind here, but im not afraid to drop 5k into it either. I just dont want to blow a head gasket or a motor!!
If anybody has suggestions please let me know
thanks

Then honestly, leave it alone....what you are running now is about all the stock head gaskets will support; perhaps a hotter tune would be safe, but any other hardware modifications will warrant new gaskets and head studs.
If you decide to go the head stud route, give us a call....we've got injectors in any sizes from 160mm (stock is 135) all the way up to around 350mm (and even bigger with hybrids) along with turbos, oil systems and other hardware needed.
If you are in the market for injectors, check out DSG Canada. They can bore out your stock injectors, and are great to deal with!!! Also, as long as your truck was made after may '05, the head gasket shouldn't be a major concern!
Hey 6l Power Does Removeing The Egr Give You More Power ???
Hard to say since I did this AND put in Stage II Injectors at the same time. Logic says yes since I took the big scoop out of the uppipe, but I can't say for sure.

Matt
How about water methanol injection with 25% methanol. Will the stock head gaskets support that along with a tuner and exhaust.
