Hi all, I installed my guages today. I was aprehensive about doing it for that last 6 months but a locla place wanted 1100 bucks to do the job, so i figured i would take my time and just go in steps. SO after the guages arived i did all the guage hookups and wiring for them into the pillar inside the house. took my time and read the entire directions front to back. 3 hours total time spent on this. Today I planned on the install into the truck. Started at 9 am and finished at 2:30pm. (5.5 hrs) The only thing that slowed me down was the cold. (ny) It was 25 degrees today (high) so it was pretty cold to be doing this outside. But its done now and all work great. I got my kit from Diesel Manor. The directions are perfect and everything is included that you will need for the install. Now my exhaust is on the way, at least that will installed in my friends garage. But anyone that isnt sure about doing this install yourself, go on and do it, even drilling and tapping the anifold was a piece of cake. Thanks to all the guys here for your input on my questions on which mods to start with etc. This place is my 2nd home. after my exhaust, comes a dp tuner and a bts valve body then it will be ....let er go... thanks everyone ..... Jeff M.
congrads on the gauge install...glad too here its all working..snow bank tinkering does suck..but after its all done its well worth it....what you getting for an exhaust????
I ordered a MBRP 4 " stainless with a t-304 polished tip. I alreadfy have the AIS intake with the fender mod. So after the exhaust I will order the BTS valve body and the dp tuner along with the overboost guage. I see how this can become a bad habit. Jeff
