How much radiator capacity do I need?

How much radiator capacity do I need?
I'm installing a 1965 289 Cu. in. Ford engine in a 1936 Ford sedan. How much coolant capacity does it need?

It depends on how big your radiator is and how much it holds.

Okay, thanks. But let me clarify my original question. I don't have a radiator, and I will have to have one custom built to fit a 36 Ford. So my question is, how big should the radiator be for a 289 engine?

I'd email Ron Davis radiators. I'm sure they could tell you.
