Does any one run Borla Muffler?

Are you running header or stock manifolds?

What type of sound does these exhaust make?

Are these a good performance exhaust muffler?

I run a single Borla after the Y connection.
On the 278ci engine it sounds like a 289 with
glasspacs, love it but a little drone 21 to 2,400 rpm's.
They have a perforated pipe thu the muffler not
a louver design that's restrictive which increases
with flow.
Good thing they have a million mile guarantee as I
had one fail, this with papers took two months to
get replaced, they were butt heads on the matter.
The inlet had a pipe sleeve which looked like an hourglass,
a built in restriction cutting pipe area down to 53%, ground
and removed, all is well.
They are proud of their product, shop on line for the best
price. Best part they are 100% stainless.
Same design is Edelbrock's RPM series in SS which I believe they
phased out but had the pipe split then converge inside the
muffler, again a lifetime muffler. I have their third generation
mufflers due to free replacements but went to SpinTechs as
the 4 1/2" tailpipes resonated and barked too loud.

Had Borla stainless duals on the wife's 02 Lincoln LS v8... expensive, but great!
sold them at the end of the lease by swapping with another ls...

PERFECT strong sound on that car... and cleaned up perfectly - looked good as new after 3 years under the car !

pics in my gallery...
