93 ranger will not start
i have a 93 ranger 2wd 5 speed with the 2.3l i drove it into the garage to work on the blower motor resistor started up a little hard (old battery) ran great turn it off work on truck for a couple hours go to start it and it clicks like starter is trying to turn over the motor but then dies, no power for about 2 mins then the power comes back on but still wont start, i hooked up a second battery to jump start it figureing the battery was completely dead and it did the same thing i need some advise as to where to go from here

Make sure the cable connections to the battery/starter/fender relay are clean and tight. If the battery is completely dead, it may be sapping some of the power from the jump battery. A new battery might be in order.
Is the battery old? Is the charging circuit up to par. You should have 13.5 to 14.5 v at the battery with the engne idling. jd

thats exactly what it was the terminals that connect to the battery were loose and when i tried to turn it over it shorted out and when i moved the battery it got a new connection i tightened the connections down and everything is back to normal thanks jimdandy
