IP and injector ?

High fellas my ques is what is the diff between the ip pump for the turbo and non turbo cause im assuming its only calibration a bit more fuel which we can do our selfs again assuming. I ask because i have a 92 with a banks sidewinder and if there is a difference besides what i assume more fuel then i would change the pump to the turbo pump . also whats the deal with the letter codes on the injectors which codes are the best to get and does it even matter all i want to do is tow im not interested in speed just pulling power thanks .Richie

jsnap,
Welcome to FTE and the IDI diesel forum.

Turbo pumps have different fuel and timing curves.
All you can change without special equipment is the max fuel delivery screw.

93-94 7.3 turbo IP numbers
DB2-5069 for the automatic tranny
DB2-5070 for the manual tranny

7.3 turbo injector code G

Don't mean to hijack the post, but NAPA sold me 6 injectors with "BB" Stamped on the nut and 2 With "D" stamped on them. When I questioned this they just said it's the same part number. I haven't installed them yet, not going to until I find out which ones are the right ones.
