clutch neutral bypass
can anyone help me to bypass the clutch neutral switch for 95 f150?? i've converted to an automatic and need to know which of the 6 pins i need to loop to fool the computer. i've put an aod in my truck so if anyone knows which pins to connect from the clutch to the neutral switch on the tranny so i can actually have the safety switch still function would be a plus and save me the time trying to figure out what goes where. any help is appreciated.

Up under the dash somewhere there was a wiring harness that attached onto the "clutch switch" on your clutch/brake pedal assembly. In an automatic transmission vehicle this harness is not attached to a switch and there is a jumper in it. My '92 shop manual says it is a P/Y colored wire in and a GY/Y wire out of the switch so those would be the wires to jump. I'm not sure what the AOD has but the E4OD has a wiring harness attached to the MLPS on the trans that has a neutral safty feature built in.

I was going to say when I've done Mustangs of these same years they have a jumper in that same harness. Easiest way to go is probably hit the junkyard and pull the little jumper out of one of the auto trucks. Pretty much gauranteed to work with no possibility of problems.

Thanks, I Plan On Hitting Some Junk Yards Next Couple Of Weeks Looking For Some Other Parts And I'll Look For That Also. The Aod Has A 5-pin Neutral Switch On It, I'd Like To Splice It Into My Harness So Everything Works, But Not A Big Deal.
