tranny problems

I have a 92' 5.8 with manual 5 speed that is stuck in 4th gear. How expensive of problem is this ? The tranny was acting normally and then wouldn't go into any gear after a down shift from 5th to 4th and then went into 4th after moving shifter around a bit. thanks in advance for your input j.s.

does the clutch work? was there any problems leading up to this? you might try rocking the truck back and forth while trying to pop out of gear.

what part of OR?

The clutch seems to be fine the transfer case shifts properly also, I was wondering if if was a shifting fork problem. Corvallis j.s.

mystery solved 5th gear exploded the good news is it didn't damage any other gears
