I need help picking a speech topic.....

Its for Beef 4H public speaking, i had kind of narrowed it down, but im still not sure,

what i had kind of decided on was talking about some of the bigger ranches in the BC interior, i really like the history of the BC interior, but i didnt know what area to focus on in the ranching theme.(whoops, i said Focus)

any of you guys have an idea? id appreciate any of your input

oh yeah, something else i had thought about was something to do with fabricating/welding, but like ranching, i couldnt figure out what to focus on(oops i did it again)

thanks everyone

How about the serious ranchers use Ford trucks while the other guys use Chevy's.

Sorry but this isn`t my strong suit so I can`t be much help.
Hopefully you can get some ideas from a site on the internet.
Having said that I believe you have to include at least one F650 Super Duty Power Stroke 4X4 dually in the speech somewhere.....
No Focus cause that would be

Here is a quick Google search result: http://www.allbusiness.com/sector-11...2985193-1.html
This link doesn`t always work everytime but I found it will by retrying it afew times.
Other wise try Google or other search engines.
Good luck, let us know how you make out.

Are you saying Ford trucks and/or their drivers are gay????
You could talk about the imact of high fuel prices on the transport of feed and beef.

Ok I'll wander off aimlessly and suggest that maybe you do it on the way people around the ranchs wave at each other when they meet on the road. You know the one or 2 finger lifted off the steering wheel or the head nod or the hand up wave or the guys who use the whole cab to wave at people. A little animation in public speaking can be useful. I'm not sure if you have to be really serious about your topic or if you can have a little fun up there. I know my daughter always used to panic a little bit at speech time but it sure pays off in the end. I wish I had done some public speaking when I was younger.

I`m glad the site had some good info for you, I didn`t have alot of time to look around. Google is usually pretty fair.

Hey, if you can't have fun, why show up??? I like to think that way about work. Unfortunately, my foreman doesn't agree.
That's a cool idea about the farmer wave thing. You could at least throw that in as an aside just to get a laugh.
