I have a sending unit from an '86 F150 not sure of whaich engine. I know that these years had different sending units for the different engines. Is the difference enough to where if it was a unit for a 531 or 300, it wouldn't work for my '93 302?
I don't think it will work in your 93. The 91-older trucks used low pressure in-tank pumps that fed a high pressure frame mounted pump, while your 93 uses a high pressure in-tank pump with all the switching valves incorporated into the sending unit (aka fuel delivery module).
