Automatic Shifter Arm
Hello,
I just broke the automatic gear selector (for lack of a better description), or the arm you use to select PRND21. Not a big deal, I'm sure it just got weak over time and the plastic at the end broke, the OD Off wires are holding it on for now, but I plan on replacing. Where would be the best place to get a new one, Ford Dealer? Is it a big job to replace, it was dark when it broke, but it feels like there are two screws holding the pad under the steering wheel on and I imagine once I get that off it will be somewhere in there. Can anyone remember off the top of their head how it comes out? Are there connectors or a plug on the wires somewhere on the steering column?
