52 flat 8 oiling system
Howdy folks;I have just started to restore my 52F-1.Since this is my first flat 8 I am learning about them.Seems to me the oil filtering system sucks.Is there an easy way to convert to full flow system,mine has only one line going in and no out.Can you run a line out the bottom plug of the cannister and drill a hole in the stem in the can,then run the line to the 1/4 plug on the left lower side of the block. Or is there pressure behinde this plug.I have seen the after market system where you put a fitting through the pan and use spin-on filters but I would like to keep mine stock.Thanks for any help.
