First your link doesnt work so let me take a shot at this...
Look wether its a positive or negative switched system is not an issue for the install. By using a relay you can make it a negative switched system if you wanted too even if the truck is a positive switched system.
A relay installed before the HID lights you are installing can make the switch polarity anything you want...positive or negative...the relay Load contacts do not care one bit.
If you are installing them without a schematic I would use an extra relay/light just to be safe.
