King Pins
Are king pins hard to change? I've never dealt with a 2wd so this is kind of new to me. The drivers' side is loose at the bottom and I assume it is coming from the king pin. A replacement kit is around $44.00 at Advance Auto. Just wanted to know what I'd be getting myself into if I decided to replace them.

You should do a search on King-Pins and you will find out everything you want to know about the subject. In a nut shell, they can be a bear to remove sometimes, the king pin set to buy uses bronze bushings that will have to be reamed to size after they have been installed (need to locate a shop that can do this, maybe not so easy). They do sell a king pin kit that uses nylon bushings that you can install yourself, but they don't last nearly as long as the bronze bushings.
