Question Quick question

What was the last year the 7.3 was put into ford trucks?

I think it is somewhere in between 2002 and 2003. I have a June 2002 wih 7.3 and I have a friend with a late 2003 6.0

Near as I can tell, thru last year, and may still be available. My boss took delivery on one in september in a dually for himself.

In the United states, they were sold as 2003 models. in "2003.25" the 6.0's were started in the trucks, and by "2003.5" the 7.3's were phased out and it has been 6.0's since then until march-ish. Flywest is in Australia and he has a 2004 with a 7.3 in it. But the thing is that the 05 and newer trucks look just like the 04 and down trucks, they do not have the new coil over axle and the radius arms, nor the front end change. I suspect once Ford gets some 6.4's on their lots, the 6.0's will be marketed in Australia and other countries down south.

wellll, now I'm gonna have to pop his hood and see if he ain't fibbin on me... he said it was... but then again, he says alot of stuff.

I honestly haven't taken a good look at it! He brought it in, like a proud Papa, getting the sales team in a group picture around it... I shy away from stuff like that. It looked nice, but I SWEAR I heard him say 3 different times that it had "That 7.3 Diesel", lol...

He probably did, but you probably didn't hear him say "I wish" in front of that.

LOL.... well ALL of our "working" trucks are 7.3s, at least until they get traded in this spring. He may have thought that's all there was, lol
