Mobil 1 ATF

I noticed on the bottle that Mobil 1 ATF was listed as Mercon and Mercon V. Is it still good to run in the 4r100? What brands of synthetics are being used for ATF?

Yes, it is fine. Ford recently changed MERCON V to make it compatible with all the transmissions that used to only use MERCON. At the same time they announced that MERCON is going away later this year.
