Head Light Assembly
My dad and I are trying to change out the head lights on his truck, a 95' F150 scab, and cant figure out how to remove the alignment rods. There seems to be a clip that you would remove but we wouldn't like to break it to further the process. Any help with vac diagrams or quick tips are greatly appriciated. On another note...does anyone know what the it cost is to have it done professionaly??? Thanks for all the help guys!

That "aiming" rod is attached to the headlight assembly. if you are rmoving the assemblies, it is not bolted to anything will come out with the assembly.
If you are just changing the bulbs, they turn 90 deg. then pull out.
If you are just changing the bulbs, they turn 90 deg. then pull out.

Thanks guys...but yeah I'm changing out the housings... For some reason the gromets that the aligning rods are attatched to just don't come out... They are plastic bound by retaining clips. The new housings have new alignment rods and gromets but like I said I can't get them out. I was able to detach the lens but not the actual rod to the frame...
