Yep, he lucked out.

But what a piece of crap that car was! Where was his five point racing harness?

You can tell the suspension on that car was screwed up before he even got to the starting line.

Crazy! One in a million odds that he faired better with crappy restraints! Lucky guy. I agree - the suspension looked flaky from the begining!

That car should have never been on the track. It even launched sideways. I bet the Tech inspector has a lot of explaining to do

He's tied with me for luckiest man alive.
I fell 25 feet from a tree and only suffered a broken pelvis, 7 broken ribs and a shattered elbow.
I should be dead or, best case scenario, a wheel chair.
Only thing giving me trouble now is the elbow. It is fubar.

WOW - the guy was on his feet before his rear axle landed. Think that car had the automatic Chevy seat ejector installed from the factory?

Note to self: race cars need roll cages attached to the frame and 5 point harness attached to the cage and not done with a 110v MIG. Check.

Worse thing was he was not going that fast!

I totally agree with that.

Don't drill holes in your shock absorbers, no matter how good it makes the weight transfer.
