New to the boards
Hello all, I just found this board and love it!!! I own a 2001 F-150XLT 4x4 4.2v6 5spd. Reg Cab Shortbox its got 135,000miles on it, I've owned it since new. Just wanted to say Hi to everyone.

Hi I also have a 01 ford f-150xlt,v6 4.2 127k,and im first owner of a ford i usually buy chevy or dodge,how did you come aobut to buy a Ford,and are they reliable same as chevy or dodge? cause im not used to buyin a Ford?i got mine for 5k$,dealer,so let me know how you think they are thanks Lonni

It really depends on how well the truck was taken care of before you got it. These are well built trucks and properly maintained they would last a very long time before they need alot of repair.
If you drive it like you stole it, well repairs will come alot sooner.
