Boy, theres going to be some upset people! We now have on line access to 08 6.4 workshop manuals. In the dtc section is a few new ones---like p167f (non-oem calibration detected). Boy, the fight is on!

Meaning, someone puts in aftermarket programming, ford can detect it. I have no doubt that it will be a cat and mouse game, they change something, ford changes something. Its all in fun!

THey want US to spend TENS of THOUSANDS to buy a new truck, and want to BUST us when we try to make it better!
I can remember 15-20 years ago the Big 3 were voiding warranties on pickups because people were installing aftermarket tow kits. Oi!

Hmmm, yet another reason I'll just stick with my older trucks, and not ever worry about owning a new one... not exactly a surprise...

It wouldn't read that. It would have to have Ford parts in it to read that, not aftermarket ones.
