Largest E Rated Tires
My 99 F350 has 16.5 inch rims and I am running 35" tires on them. However, they are D rated and I want to get E rated tires. I am going to dump my rims for 16" ones and am curious what Larger E rated tires are available. A little variety would be nice also. There were only two companies that made the D rated radials for my 16.5 but I need a higher rating for pulling my toy hauler.

Looks like Pro comp, and Nitto make 16" rubber that would be exact replacements for you. Pro Comp even goes to 40" rubber in an "e" rating, but you gotta get the 20" bling. I have torn up a set of 39.5" boggers trying to pull my hauler to the dunes (36' Weekend Warrior, what was I thinkin???) But have had good luck with the Swamper ssr's 38's (10 ply) on 16.5" wheels. We tow out here in SO. CA. so we can't get anywhere in a hurry, this keeps tire temps down, and they seem to last with big loads, large diameter tires help to keep temps down as well.
Looks like more, and more companies are introducing higher load rated tires (big ol ones), but they are wanting us to use big wheels too. Just so you know (I am sure you do), 20"ers off road suck!
