I need to replace my remote. I've found a used one. Does anyone know how to program it? And can I use one from any same year truck? '97 F-150 Lariat 4X4.

Any of the Ford 3 button Ford FOB's should work. It's been awhile, I'll have to look up in the owners manual how to do it.

 

go to ebay under key fobs, there you will be able to buy a new one for your truck. i bought two of them for 25 bucks and it came with directions to program your truck, very easy to do. they work for multiple years just make sure it is your year of truck also
