I only have 17,000 miles on my truck. A while back I posted a thread that my engine was making the turbo "phart" noise when I backed off the throttle after boost. Then my truck did not make as much power as it used to. I finally took it back to the dealer Monday evening. I just got it back today. They replaced the turbocharger per TSB 062302A. The EGR valve was removed and cleaned per TSB 061906A. Also, the computer was reprogramed per TSB 062203A(rough cold start I think). Now I have my power back and no more turbo "pharts"! How can you find out what these TSB's are?
Does your truck now make a clicking sound for 30 seconds after shut off? I have a new flash (about 3 weeks ago) and now my truck does that. Something to do with keeping the exhaust cleared out??? Sounds like a lot of the TSB's you will not know about until you go to the dealer with problems and then they may do the things such as they did with yours if it is showing symptoms of any of them. that is the way I understood it to be anyway.....
The clicking sound your hearing is the injectors cycling after you shut the motor off. They are purging the oil from them to help with the sticking injector problem in colder temps.

TSB 062302A this tsb is instructions on cleaning the turbo and if certain criteria are met, then it states replacement is necessary.
TSB 061906A this tsb is a cleaning procedure for the egr valve and instuctions on testing for proper operation.
TSB 062203A this is instructions for reprogramming the pcm, ficm, and the tcm for cold strategy improvements.
glad to hear your truck is running better. make sure you drive it on a regular basis with a lead foot and you should not have any more troubles out of it.

I haven't been driving my truck that much because of the price of diesel fuel. Guess I need to. Thanks for the info
