Another leveling question...
For the record, I've got an '03 F250 FX4, CC SB. It's got the "camper" package.
General measurements show the front to be right at 2" lower than the rear.
So I'd like to level it for two reasons: 1-to accept a larger tires and 2-because, like many others, I like the level look.
With that info...
1) It seems I've heard frequently that many leveling kits on that series F250 will actually put the height in the front higher than the rear. I'm looking at the Donahoe 3" "hangar" leveling kit to help retain a quality ride, but I'm not opposed to something else if it makes sense.
2) I've heard that putting F350 rear blocks on it will return the rear back to level after adding the leveling kit. True? Other thoughts?
3) I'd like to go with a 305 sized tire. Assuming the "bugs" are worked out of my leveling solution, what's the largest tire size I can put on and still avoid rubbing issues? Many sites like Donahoe say their 3" hangar leveling kit will allow 305/70R16 tires, while their 2" mini-spring pack will allow 295/75R16 tires. What's the real scoop?
Many thanks in advance!

I have an 04 F350 w/out the camper package that I recently installed a Tuff Country 2.5" "spring pack" leveling kit. I don't know much about the Donahoe stuff but I've heard nothing but good things. I was able to install 315's on my truck. I had to trim the lower chin valance by about 3/4" so it would articulate and steer w/out ripping it off. It does rub on the spring pack a little bit at full lock, but that's my fault for running big tires on OEM wheels (don't flame me guys, I know. I'm getting other wheels soon). It has nothing to do w/ the lift. There is plenty of height to clear the 315's.
And I've heard the same thing about the F350 blocks. Mine has settled to within 3/4" of being level with the rear being just slightly higher.
I hope this info helped.

I probably should have noted that I have the 6.0L PSD. I have a buddy with an '02 that's set up very similar to my truck (camper package), but he has the V10 like you.
Stock, his truck sits almost level with no aftermarket leveling kit. I'm guessing that the combination of the camper package and the lighter V10 contribute to his stock "levelness" ?
Thanks again!
