Suspension Swap???
Greetings fellow enthusiasts. I recently purchased an 'O5 Excursion w/a 6.0 PSD. I live in IL, but found the vehicle in AZ. Flew to AZ looked it over, and drove it back. I wish to find someone who has either a F250 or F350 who is looking to go with a lift kit. I have a custom Comp Pro 7" set-up on the X that I cannot keep. Many factors, but basically will be driving this frequently and living in IL, cannot justify such a "lofty" perch when driving in the flatlands. Here's the rest of the details: Kit consisted of 22610 front spring packs, Bilstein dual resevoir/twin tube front shocks,( polished) Bilstein extended rear shocks, Comp Pro 6" blocks and hardware in rear. I also want to go from the 37" BFG All Terrains to a 35 or even maybe a 33" tire. These tires show about 6/32's tread yet. More than half tread still remains with no cupping, wobbles, etc... I will keep the wheels, unless someone has an interesting turn-key swap.
Here's what I am looking for and hope to do: front and rear springs from either F250 or 350 with V code front springs, and B code rear springs. We can either do an entire swap or I would consider parting some of this, (really don't want to...) I would want enough cash back to allow me to fit some decent Bilsteins, Rancho's, or other high quality shocks and for the labor. I think $700 would cover. This vehicle only has 12,k miles and the kit was added at around 4,k by a wealthy owner who wanted a high quality lift. This would also include the pitman arm extension and all hardware required to bolt everything up.
Please feel free to call me at 630.853.3640/mobile or email me at pkp4911@comcast.net to discuss or ask for pictures, (I have a ton). This is a great kit--I only wish I lived somewhere I could get way off the beaten path and have some fun.
