Wierd Problem
As I was coming into work today, something funky happened. It's icey out and when I pressed the brakes it made that noise it does when it's icey and you press too hard. Know what I mean? At the exact same time it made that noise my lights flashed. I thot, what the heck? So I did it again and again and again. It flashed my lights everytime. Not just dimming, but I think it actually went off and on.
Anybody have this problem? Any ideas? I still have warranty time left. Just wanted some "ammo" to go into the dealer with.
The dealership here in town sucks for service. I hate taking my truck back there. When I had my radiator swap, I had just detailed it. Lookin great. Took it in for the swap...got it back and there was dried anti-freeze all over he hood and fenders. I got pissed and told the service manager and he threw me a DRY rag. I threw it back in his face and said, "like I'm gonna wipe off dry anti-freeze with a dry rag" and walked out. This is why I want some opinions from here first before I go in. First off they told me they never heard of the Ford radiator swap. When I guy I work with told me he got his done there.
Anyhow, any ideas?
Point the mechanic in the direction of a ground that only appears when the abs sensor is active, then when they can't find the problem, find a better mechanic. It's a safety issue and I'm sure the NTSB would love to hear about the dealer and/or the mechanic contributing to it.
