Oils well ends well - I hope
Hi Guys, I've got a 312 with no oil to the passenger side head. I read all the stuff that was posted about clearing the ports with a grease gun and I'm gonna do that. But I've also been told that there could be a problem with the cam. Something to do with a grove or notch that is to small when stock,that must be enlarged to increase oil flow to the heads. I'm already putting in a new oil pump, timing chain, water pump and having the heads done. What I don't want to have to do is pull the engine. I'm hoping I'll be OK as the oil pump was really bad. Is there any way to check for oil flow to the head without putting everything back together? Has anyone heard about this situation with the cam? Come guys I need help here! -Thanks - Jeff
